United Airlines Sucks
My daughter had a most horrible experience with United Airlines. She returned from the island on Air Pacific and cleared Custom at LAX. Her two pieces of lauges were checked in all the way to San Francisco. Afte she cleared Customs, her two laggaes were given to the United Airlines transferring agent before departing the Customs area at LAX. When she arrived a San Francisco, one of luggage was missing. We were told to come back an hour later to check if it made it on that flight. We came back an hour later to check and still nothing. We were then told to call an 800 number for follow up. We called a day later. I was on hold for half an hour befor I spoke with a human being. I was told that the their system only shows one of the bags was scanned in Los Angeles. She went on to say that it wasn't United Airlines fault. We were also told that it was the other carrier's fault for not checking the bag. I argued with the operator about their mistakes but she question my daughter. The operator insisted that maybe my daughter only picked up one bag when she cleared customs. I said some nasty words to her and hanged the phone up...The next day I called again. I waited half an hour before I got through to a live person. Got the same result and got the same comments....The operator told me to checked back with them in couple days..........Now I wait.
